Boston University Women's Basketball Coach Hired by Wisconsin
Wisconsin has appointed Marisa Moseley, formerly of Boston University, as the new head coach for its women's basketball team. This decision comes as the Badgers aim to revitalize a program that has struggled to achieve a winning record for the past ten years. During her tenure at Boston University, Moseley achieved a 45-29 overall record over three seasons. Prior to that, she served on the coaching staff at UConn under renowned coach Geno Auriemma, contributing to the team's success during multiple national championship victories from 2010 to 2016. The Badgers are looking to turn the page after parting ways with Jonathan Tsipis, who had a challenging five-year record of 50 wins and 99 losses, including a disappointing 16-74 in Big Ten play.
